The Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol has come and gone, but our passion for sharing the power and performance of ethanol will always remain. With 2.693 million views for the first ever NASCAR Cup Series race in Iowa on the USA network alone, and in front of a sold-out crowd, our impact has far outdone what we thought possible. This strategic partnership between Iowa Corn and NASCAR is an intersection of marketing, education and economic development – building the brand of ethanol. 

The NASCAR event offered a platform to showcase the benefits of corn in all forms. From the corn-fed beef, dairy and eggs being served in the midway, to the ethanol fueling drivers around the track, corn powered this race. Surveys done by Iowa Corn consistently show that farmers across the state want to boost ethanol demand and educate consumers about its benefits – which this race did.  

As the title partner of the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol we were able to spotlight ethanol’s benefits on a national stage with over 30,000 fans in the stands and millions of viewers. Race enthusiasts were able to witness E15’s performance firsthand and learn about ethanol as the clear fuel option. Displays and information booths provided insights into how ethanol reduces greenhouse gas emissions, supports energy independence and contributes to a cleaner environment. By drawing a direct line from the track to the consumer’s gas tank, Iowa Corn emphasized that choosing ethanol at the pump translates to tangible benefits for the planet and the economy. 

Furthermore, Iowa Corn’s presence at NASCAR also celebrated the hardworking farmers who produce corn across the state. It underscores the importance of agriculture in America’s heartland, reminding audiences that behind every gallon of ethanol is a farmer dedicated to sustainable practices and fueling the world.
