Iowa Corn statement on passing of former Agriculture Secretary Bill Northey

The following statement may be attributed to Iowa Corn:

“Bill was a friend and mentor to many in the agriculture community, and through his years of dedicated service he helped shape the industry to what it is today and the minds of many agriculturalists throughout Iowa. With his commitment to good stewardship of the land, he played a pivotal role in advancing conservation practices and was a fierce advocate for Iowa’s corn farmers. We are deeply saddened by his passing and offer our condolences to his family as it was a privilege to know him and to work alongside him.”
