Student Opportunities & Scholarships
Today’s students are our ag leaders of tomorrow, which is why Iowa Corn invests in leadership development as a core priority of our organization. Becoming an Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) student member gives you access to numerous opportunities to grow your skills, get involved and receive financial support for your academic pursuits.
Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team
Network, learn and advance the corn industry with a group of 20 college students from across Iowa through the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team (CAT). Any post-secondary student who has completed high school and is attending an Iowa college or university to pursue a career in agriculture is encouraged to apply.
Scholarships
As a student member or dependent of an ICGA member, you have access to scholarships at both the state and national level to support your pursuit of a degree in agriculture. The best part? Thanks to a consolidated scholarship application with NCGA, students only need to fill out one application to be eligible for both the Iowa Corn Future of Agriculture Scholarship and NCGA William C. Berg Academic Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship.
Iowa Corn Future of Agriculture Scholarship
The Iowa Corn Future of Agriculture Scholarship program awards nine $1,000 first-year scholarships and nine $1,000 upperclassman scholarships to individuals who are pursuing degrees that can equip them to contribute to the agriculture industry in Iowa.
