Aarika Schwarck, District 2

Aarika Schwarck is a farmer from Mitchell County who raises corn, soybeans, oats, hay and runs a cow/calf operation and feedlot. Aarika has grown up in agriculture all of her life and as a kid helped with her family’s livestock operation. Along with her husband, Tony, she now plays an active role in their row crop and diversified livestock operation.

Aarika currently serves as the Iowa Corn Growers Association Director representing District 2 and on the Grassroots Network, Membership & Checkoff Committee.

She is an active member of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Soybean Association and FFA Alumni.

Aarika shares that being well versed in multiple aspects of farming gives her an advantage as she is used to working in fast-paced high stress situations, doesn’t fall under pressure and that she’ll put in the time until every job is complete.

Aarika and her husband have two children Annalee and Axton who often tag along in all aspects of farming from the row crop side to the livestock side, learning the ropes and love for the land and livestock.
