Ryan Steffensen, District 4
Ryan Steffensen and his wife Amanda reside in Guthrie Center, Iowa with their 3 kids Eva, Cora and Mila. Ryan has been involved with row crop farming with his father and brother since childhood but raised his first official crop in 2012. Since 2012, the crop operation has expanded some, but he continues to work off farm full-time.
He is currently the Branch Manager of two locations for Helena Agri Enterprises LLC in Guthrie Center and Adair, Iowa. He has always enjoyed his off-farm career allowing him to work with some of the most successful growers in the area. Ryan makes great efforts to experiment and utilize production practices that help to push yields and profitability per acre.
Ryan is serving as the Iowa Corn Promotion Board Director for District 4 and serves as Chairman of the Exports & Grain Trade Committee. He has also been serving on the Guthrie County Corn Growers board since establishment in 2016. He participates actively on the District 4 Grower Committee and is also a previous graduate of I-LEAD Class 9.
Ryan is passionate about the ethanol industry, exports, new uses for corn, and sharing Iowa agriculture with consumers. Since starting his farming career in 2012 he has experienced some great and some poor years along the way, but no matter what he is focused on growing his farming operation to be able to pass on to his kids. His goal is to instill the same passion for agronomy, conservation, and agriculture that he possesses into his children. He feels by being a part of Iowa Corn he is surrounding himself with some of the best people that the industry has to offer and is excited to help better the industry for all Iowa Corn Growers.
