2009 Harvest

Iowa's corn growers have improved machinery, biotechnology, and more, but one thing that is still uncertain is the weather and each year brings with it a new and different challenge.

This year, planting was late, the summer was cool, a frost came early, and then October went in the record books for wet weather. Still, the Iowa corn grower is committed to providing safe, reliable, abundant quality corn crop for all markets from livestock, ethanol, and export.
